Decking & wood cleaning

Popularised in recent years by garden makeover shows on television, decking can be found to the rear of many properties across Staffordshire. It often looks great when first installed, but once left exposed to the elements, deterioration can soon set in. 

Once algae, moss and other forms of surface growth begin to grow on the surface it can soon become very slippery and possibly dangerous when damp or wet. This problem can be overcome with regular cleaning and ongoing maintenance.

We use specialised rotary headed pressure cleaning equipment that can quickly remove most types of surface growth with ease. The equipment has special attachments to prevent any damage to the surface of the wood.

After the wood has been allowed time to dry off completely, we can then apply decking oils to waterproof the wood. The oils will also help to protect the surface from future deterioration and help reduce maintenance.
